Omg fellas!
Fall Out Boy -- From Under The Cork Tree LP SEALED!!!1
2005 pressing with die cut key hole sleeve and fancy metallic album art, nunahthat lame, blase solid card stock sleeve that hot topic was trying to sell yourlittle sister with those 7/16ths glow-in-the-dark nautical star plugs onclearance for 6 bucks (but still kept under lock and key).
No sur!! Totes the real thing. And mint.
And sealed, which is sort of a blessing and a curse...
Cuz, if you don't know already, there are only 1520 of these bad boys:
1000 pressed on black wax
500 on gold
20 on gold with a black outer lip
And I dunno if I know which one she is! I've owned this thing for years andnever could bring myself to open it and the mystery won't get the best of menow (it might get the best of me). But regardless, it's either really quiterare, impressively rare, or Indiana Jones rare.
I suppose if people reeeeeaallly wanted to know I might consider having atrusted colleague slit the shrink wrap and post the result, but NO ONE TELL ME,I don't wanna know. And I'll only consider doing so if bidding gets to acertain point of my pleasing.
I don't know what the number might be quite yet but I'll know it when I see it,like it were one of my dearest childhood friends whose face alcohol has all butatrophied from my weathered grey matter. I'd totally be like 'oh, hey[approximated name]! how have you been!!!' but really just want to continueshopping around for a good price on some pointless thing on my phone while Iwait for my girlfriend to pick between brands of gluten free cookies at whole foods.I know you know what I'm talking about.
Along with the album, submission of payment by winning bidder includes some orall (probably ~5) of the 7 items pictured above. These items will be chosen atrandom (I'll probably end up putting thought into it) after the auction ends.
1) A custom printed box of stick matches from myfriends' wedding last year. Congratulate them if you'd like. Facebook Julie orCarl Seher, they're nice people.
2) A stick from an apple tree one of our chinchillaschewed & 26 cents in mixed change. These count as one for obvious reasons.
3) A miniature straw hat as modeled by my cat Javier& girlfriend [sold seperately].
4) A recipe I wrote on a piece of an envelope but Idon't recall what for. I'm guessing crepes.
5) A standard sized photograph of girlfriend's littlebrother dressed as Captain America circa halloween 2001. Also a pretty cooldude, Facebook Luke Shields.
6) One(1) one(1) inch(") plug/gauge with a sickbear on it. I lost its pair at some show. I don't remember who I was seeing butyou probably like them too, but I've liked them longer and was only thereironically. Maybe you were there too. 'Magine that.
7) A copy of 'La Casa en Mango Street' by SandraCisneros. It's printed in Spanish but that shouldn't be a problem, right? Ellibre 'The House on Mango Street' de Sandra Cisneros. Es impreso en Espanol, esta es no problemo, si?
*additional items may also find their way onto this list, possibly of value, Ilike giving presents to strangers and have some other records I'm looking toget rid of but it just takes me too darn long to list them on ebay for somereason. To guarantee such a present message “cornflax”. I might even let youpick this time!*
That's it. If you read all of that I apologize and am proud of you. If youdidn't and just skipped down, probably a good call. No hard feelings. If yougot through that part about the record you're well enough off.
Message with questions or whatever. Thanks for looking!!!
