Family - Music In A Dolls House - UK Reprise RLP/RSLP 6312 1968
UK Original, has for some reason a mono sleeve (RLP) as some copies has (have seen this once before and that had the insert as well). Flipback sleeve and on the correct Steamboat label.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition, due to general wear on edges and corners, light creasing on bottom corners on front, has also two 1" wide razor sharps seams splits (that can easily be repaired if you like). All in all, a decent good looking cover where the spine is clear and readable. Backside has two short lines perhaps drawed by a mistake.
The disc however can be described as VERY GOOD, due to the fact that the surface has hairlines here and there through, all around the disc and on both sides. Side B, Track 2 has a scratch that can be felt with your nail and makes a soft pop sound, very hard to notice when you listen to the music, but is there when you concentrate hearing the constant pop. The record plays... well a bit less than EXCELLENT and above VERY GOOD PLUS; it has notable surface noise on some tracks, and some plays just fine.. and the music itself sounds undistorted and the whole range sounds marvellous.
Clearly not a gem, but it's not as it looks as a chicken had skated on the disc and a very enjoyable and listeneable vinyl. Do not forget the insert either, which is not a Xerox either. Insert is in NEAR MINT condition.
So, bid on the insert or bid on the album.. it's really up to you! The disc can be upgraded but not the insert... Has also the original Reprise inner sleeve, that has seamsplits on all 3 seams.
