Original 1988 first pressing of No Exit by Fates Warning, issued on Metal Blade Records. This edition is in near mint condition, vinyl and jacket, and includes the original hype sticker on shrink. A cornerstone of U.S. progressive metal and a must-have for serious collectors.
Album Significance:
This release marked the debut of vocalist Ray Alder, whose soaring vocals pushed the band into darker, more complex territory. With tracks like “Silent Cries”, “Anarchy Divine”, and the epic 21-minute suite “The Ivory Gate of Dreams”, No Exit helped define the late ’80s shift from traditional metal to intricate, conceptual progressive metal.
