Honest Condition Overview
I am not a professional record grader, so I am omitting formal letter grades. Instead, I have personally play-tested this record and photographed it carefully under direct lighting so you can see exactly what you are buying.
Audio / Playback: I have personally spun this record entirely. To my ears, it sounds great and plays beautifully. It offers a very clean, enjoyable listening experience with very little surface noise—especially impressive for a mid-1950s mono pressing. No distracting pops or skips.
Vinyl Visuals: The vinyl retains an excellent, bright mirror-like gloss. Under direct light, you can see a few tiny, microscopic hairline wisps from handling, but no deep or feelable scratches. The center labels are clean with crisp text and minimal spindle wear.
Jacket (Paper Cover Variant): Please note that this is the early, fragile, all-paper jacket variant with no lamination. It is a soft, flexible paper cover rather than thick cardboard. The front cover artwork looks wonderful and retains great color. The seams are intact with no major splits, though there is light fraying/wear along the spine and edges. The white back cover shows clear vintage browning, aging, and spotting (foxing) consistent with its age and paper construction.
