Faust - s/t Debut LP on Polydor - Clear Album
The original issue of one of the greatest albums of all time. Faust truly were a band like no other and listening to this album at least once in a person's life should be made compulsory!
Anyway, this is as I've mentioned the first issue on Polydor. It comes with its clear insert which is clear and shiny. The sleeve is also clear and shiny. There's a small seam split halfway down the lefthand edge but it's not noticeable.
The record was cleaned recently and the clear plastic inner sleeve was replaced with an opaque anti static inner of the same shape but higher quality.
The record isn't as clear as some - whether this is due to age or whether it's always been like this unknown. It's in VG+ condition - it looks completely unmarked but there are some light pops and crackle from time to time. This may be due to the limitations of vinyl that isn't black. Still, it sounds absolutely incredible, much more dynamic than the Recommended reissue or the recent repressing. I listened to the whole of both sides to grade it, there is no distortion and it doesn't stick or jump. If I didn't have another copy I wouldn't be selling!
