Description
This LP has been play graded. Side A track 3 has 1 light pop. Track 4 has light pop at the end. Track 6 has light crackles. Track 7 has crackles. Side B all tracks have crackles. Both sides as the famous "RTI White Streaks" see image. These typically aren't noisy. Jacket has a corner bend on the back lower left side.
Along with Black Flag and The Circle Jerks, Fear ushered in a new face of gritty, fast, angry punk rock which would later be called hardcore by some dedicated fans. While Black Flag and The Circle Jerks represented west coast inner suburb, art damaged nerds - Fear offered a sometimes sophisticated, sometimes offensive, always musically innovative antagonism that owed as much to stand up comedy and college boy sarcasm as it did to the glam punk bands who came before them... Keep in mind that Fear was reportedly one of John Belushi's favorite punk bands - and he even managed to get them booked on an episode of SNL.
