Firstly ignore that cup mark on the front of the sleeve - it just wiped off! 

Rare to find in this condition... Rare to find at all for that matter! This is a 1958 pressing of 'Feirouz' by Fairuz or any number of synonyms by which Nuhad Rizq Wadīʿ Ḥaddad was known. An interesting blend of Lebanese and Arabic folk instrumentation and modern instruments and techniques - akin to that of Tinariwen etc. This was later released in the US on Orient Records as Folk Songs and Love Ballads - but this is the original Lebanese version.

The vinyl is extremely clean, gleaming in fact with any noise being of a very low level and resultant of super-fine wispy sleeve-removal marks or the occasional finest hairline mark hard to spot. 

The sleeve is very good, intact with a bit of writing and wear to the rear. The front is very good indeed with very little wear. There is a one inch split to the lower right edge not affecting function.

Overall a nice copy of a rare and interesting record... Definitely collectable! EX/VG

 Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media:  Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover (i.e. VG/G+)

 MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint 

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. 

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. 

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. 

CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
