Ever since I first heard this here LP, I've been under it's spell. Fela comes in with a great African Funky Protest Album. Remarkable sax-playing on this album. If you are into James Brown, you will understand this music immediately (this is like James Brown in Africa) The crazy cool almost upside intro of Colonial Mentality will get inside you en never go away and you will recommend Fela to anyone who would listen as a musical genius for the rest of your life!
