Felt S/T - Original 1971 Nasco Release - Nasco 9006 - Very Rare! *Play-Tested*
This auction is for the S/T LP by the band Felt. This is the 1971 original release on Nasco Records.
The jacket is in NM condition. No splits, still in the shrink wrap, clear readable spine. There is a 71 punched out with small holes (cutout/punchout ?) that can be seen in pic #3. Jacket will ship in new 3 mil plastic sleeve.
Original sleeve in like new condition, no splits or creases. I have since put the record in an audiophile sleeve, and will package the original with the record for shipment.
Vinyl Visually graded under a revealing light using a critical eye, grades in VG++ or Ex- condition. The label on side one has a small scuff, this can be seen in pic #10
Play-Test was Excellent. Full proper dynamics all the way through. NO SKIPS, LOUD POPS, Or Annoying repetitive surface noise. Really Nice production with some surprisingly good guitar work.
I found this record at an estate sale. It was sealed at the time, but do to my buying some vintage "sealed" vinyl lately and finding it to be re-sealed and very used, I decided to open it and check out the condition. I'm still not sure on this one but I do believe that I am the first person to play this record. Here's the evidence. One the jacket and sleeve are in ridiculously great condition. Two the shrink wrap looked better than the re-sealed vinyl shrink that I had bought recently. The case against the vinyl being unplayed: It has some light paper scuffs on both sides and a short hairline surface scratch on the first side, through the last song. Even so I've bought a lot of new modern prog vinyl from the UK lately that arrived looking no different than this, so my final verdict is that this was an unopened record. The good news is, you know exactly what you are purchasing.
