Felt - The splendour of fear (Cherry Red 1984)
Original UK 1st pressings for cult band Felt from the 1980s are getting harder to find, so this is a particular gem. The Splendour of Fear is widely reckoned to be one the best the band produced, and this 1984 UK 1st pressing is in exceptional condition.
The matte finish sleeve (complete with its required Aude credit 'Imprime en France') has been immaculately looked after – a tiny bit of wear to the top edge and a smidge of corner wear is all I can spot.
The vinyl has been very sparingly played and sounds fantastic. A couple of minor hairlines and marks do nothing on the audio and it's as bright and glossy as you'd hope.
The Cherry Red white labels are similarly excellent.
It's housed in a fine condition white inner sleeve, and I have added a shaped anti-static bag to protect the vinyl further.
Few copies around, and this is an exceptional one.
