I believe this to be released in the early 1960’s, maybe 1961?

The record/vinyl is in Near Mint condition.  It is an absolutely superb and pristine copy of this historic recording.  I cannot see any visual imperfections at all on either side of the record.  It is very clean and glossy.  This record has the classic DGG big tulip design label with “Alle Hersteller” printed on the label as well.  There is no noticeable spindle wear either.  The record looks absolutely beautiful.  I am only grading it visually.  I have not listened to it.

The inner paper sleeve is the original DGG stamped “direct import – factory sealed” sleeve sturdy and poly- lined and clean.  There is a small tear/seam split on the bottom of the sleeve less than an inch in length, but still well intact and functional for its age.

The outer jacket is the sturdy cardboard variety which was common for the DGG American imports distributed by MGM.  I would grade the jacket as Excellent condition.  It does have some small age spots about and some slight fading /wear on the front red portion of the cover, but no seam splits or major damage at all.  It is overall very clean and the spine is 100% intact without damage.  Please see the pictures for further inspection.

This will be a beautiful addition to anyone’s classical record collection.
