Riverside RLP-4005, recorded 1955. Traditional Afro-Cuban music at its most raw, skeletal, and basic. Oscar "Floresita" Velasco, appears on trumpet, but most of the band consists of percussionists and singers. Recorded by Odilio Urfé's Instituto Musical de Investigaciones Folclóricas. This LP was released and re-released under several titles, labels, & cover designs; but this is the original. VG++ record and VG+ cover, tape on bottom corner. Red lines are from the scanner.
