This beautiful and rare LP – a superb collector’s copy – from RCA (CAL-292, US pressing, 4S/2S stampers, mono) entitled “The Art of Emanuel Feuermann” features the legendary cellist in a mixed recital drawing upon his remarkable recorded legacey for the Victor label.

All selections were recorded with pianist Franz Rupp at RCA Victor Studio No. 2, New York, in 1939.
This is exalted playing by any measure and all those who treasure the art of the cello will find much to savor here – remarkable.
The reverse side of the jacket carries an essay by G.R. Marek, Vice President and General Manager, RCA Victor Record Division.
CONDITION:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is near-MINT. Really, there are no flaws to speak of and the jacket appears almost as new. There are no seamsplits, bends, owners' markings, or other defects, and the album remains solid, bright, glossy, and highly attractive – overall, an outstanding collector’s copy.
The condition of the LP itself is near-MINT. Though the surfaces are not perfectly silent (and thus I have rated it NM vs. MINT) this is a fine copy and playback is superb. If you must have perfect surfaces, then please do not buy this LP. Overall, this rates as a NM collector's copy.

This LP has been carefully cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. All LPs are provided with a new Nagaoka (or Nagaoka-style) inner sleeve.
