Description
'Fillmore: The Last Days' is a live album recorded at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, California, on their final week from June 29 to the Fourth of July, 1971. It contains live performances by 14 different bands, mostly from the San Francisco Bay Area, including Santana, The Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and The New Riders of The Purple Sage. The concerts were promoted by Bill Graham, who ran the Fillmore West. This is the original triple LP box set, it includes a commemorative booklet, a 7" EP record containing an interview with Bill Graham, and an actual Fillmore ticket stub. On July 4th, 1971, an era in pop music history passed with the closing of the legendary Fillmore West. The box cover is in excellent condition. All vinyl is in excellent condition.
