This 3-LP box set documents the final run of concerts at the historic Fillmore West music venue in San Francisco. The venue held its last concert July 4, 1971.
The LPs feature music from a variety of bands that performed at the venue during its final days, including The Grateful Dead, Santana, Hot Tuna, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Sons of Champlin, Tower of Power, Cold Blood, and others.
The 7-inch, 33 rpm vinyl record contains an interview with Fillmore concert promoter Bill Graham.
The commemorative booklet includes liner notes by Bill Graham, an illustrated essay about the Fillmore concert posters, and a listing of every concert held at the Fillmore and Fillmore West.
This set also includes a reproduction of the concert poster for the final run of shows.
The Fillmore ticket stub which was included with this box set is not included.
