Description

Up for auction is Blue Note 4008, Finger Poppin' with the Horace Silver Quintet (Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Horace Silver, Eugene Taylor, Louis Hayes) from 1959. 
Sleeve is NM, with a few small marks (date and two song lengths) written in blue ink on the back cover, as seen in pictures. No seam splitting, no dog-earing, no ring wear. Back cover has the "47 West 63rd Street, New York 23, N.Y." address on it. 
Record is VG++ with small scuff on both sides, a few light needle trails on side-1, and one small scratch on part of the first track ("Cooking at the Continental") on side-2. The record plays fine and sounds great, despite these imperfections. Label bears the "47 West 63rd, NYC" address and has the RVG and "ear" etched on the dead wax.
