Description
This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Buster Brown
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1960
Notes: White label first pressing on the small Fire label with the original logo. Early single by Brown, who was from Georgia. The a-side is a zydeco influenced instrumental track with a healthy dash of blues harmonica. B-side has the same type of instrumentation but with Brown's hearty vocals.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with basically no wear. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are clean and nice with no writing or tears, but does have some dirtiness/staining on one side. Really nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, outer sleeve is blank, but I believe original. Has some wrinkling and a some lighter edge wear. No tears/splits/writing.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
