Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1960
Notes: Gold, white & red label first pressing. These two tracks were from a session for Fire in May of 1960 that produced two singles. Jimmy Spruill and Homesick James are the backing musicians. As always with James, great guitar blues with fine vocals.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just a couple of very tiny/feint marks. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice and clean, with no tears or stickers. This is a really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
