Dan W. Quinn sings "Rip Van Winkle Was A Lucky Man" on a First Dog flush label Victor Monarch 1326. He is accompanied by a piano. This was recorded on March 14, 1902. This label was Victor's introduction of "Nipper" listening to "His Master's Voice."

The song is terrific (words by William Jerome, music by Jean Schwartz).

There is a small scratch that ticks three times, otherwise this announced, single-sided disc plays as clean as a whistle, and is in excellent-minus (E-) condition.
