How about some GOOD OLD ORIGINAL SOUTHERN ROCK & ROLL!! That’s what’s in this auction. It’s “The Marshall Tucker Band” ORIGINAL CAPRICORN RECORDS LP from 1973. The band hailed from Spartanburg, South Carolina, and this was the band’s self-titled FIRST LP. This is Capricorn Records CP 0112. But the best news is that this LP is a WHITE LABEL CAPRICORN RECORDS PROMO LP. You know how it has become VERY difficult to find this LP as a PROMO PRESSING. As you may know, PROMO RECORDS were only released by record companies to the radio stations and DJs for airplay and not made available to the general public. But here is your chance to acquire this one from the Marshall Tucker Band. It has 8 great cuts on it including: “Take the Highway”, “Can’t You See”, “Losing You”, “Hillbilly Band”, and “Ramblin’” In my opinion, it is definitely their landmark LP that defined the band to be on the same level as the Allman Brothers. The COVER is graded NEAR MINT CONDITION IN THE SHRINK WRAP. It also comes with the RARE PROMO Background Notes about the band. You simply NEVER find this still with copies of this promo record!!! THE VINYL AND PRISTENE WHITE LABELS ARE ALSO GRADED BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT!! Note that the side 1 white promo label slipped down. As a result, the spindle hole is punched in the correct (center) location on the disk (so it plays fine), but not in the black circle designated for the spindle hole punch. So don’t miss the chance to add this ORIGINAL WHITE LABEL CAPRICORN PROMO PRESSING OF THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND’s FIRST LP to YOUR VINYL COLLECTION!  But wait! There’s more! One side has the 2:55 Edited Version and the other side has the 3:30 Edited Version of the song that has come to be one of the Marshall Tucker Band’s trademark songs. This BONUS Promo 45 RPM record is graded NEAR MINT. You know how tough it is to find White Label Capricorn Records.
