Description

You are bidding on a set of five (5) 16-inch radio transcription disks with 10 complete programs of THE HOOT GIBSON SHOW, starring cowboy singer/bandleader Hoot Gibson and the “Florida Rhythm Boys” along with announcer Jack Danahy.  This program was sponsored by the Florida Forest Service and was probably only heard in Florida.  Each program runs about 15 minutes, allowing Hoot and the boys to sing 4 songs or so.  There is nothing to indicate when these programs were recorded, but we’re guessing that it was sometime in the 1940s.  The 5 transcription disks are in good condition for their age and don’t show signs of excessive wear or careless handling.  They will be shipped via USPS insured Media Mail.  If you collect vintage recordings of country-western music performed by lesser-known but none-the-less talented artists, than these disks are for you.  DON’T LET THEM GET AWAY BECAUSE IT SLIPPED YOUR MIND TO PUT IN A BID! Our feedback speaks for itself so bid with confidence.  Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK BIDDING.
