Description

The Five Keys

"On The Town" LP

On Score Records; SLP-4003 (1957?) CONDITION -
Jacket: VG with ringwear and scuffing; a little chipping at opening; spine is fine; top & bottom seams worn and split about an inch each at opening but otherwise both are intact; for an album jacket almost 30 years old, this actually looks pretty good, especially the front -- only really irritating thing wrong with the jacket is that there is a large signature in red ink (see pic below) -- I don't thing this is from anyone in the group (the last name looks like 'Kenworthy' or 'Denworthy' -- if anyone out there knows if this was a name associated with the Five Keys at any point, please let me know with an e-mail).
Bottom pic is of the signature mentioned above -- the yellow is from my crappy digital camera technique -- true color of back is shown in the pic of the full back of the jacket, also shown below.
Vinyl: VG/VG- with light groovewear and a handfull of short, visible surface scratches (mostly on Side One; plays with light but audible background crackle; vinyl itself still pretty clean, bright and shiny. TRACKS -
Side 1: glory of love; oh baby; my saddest hour; hucklebuck with jimmy; these foolish things; christmas time
Side 2: red sails in the sunset; too late baby; teardrops; be mine; love my loving; serve another round
