Brief description of item

Introducing ..."FIVE LIVE YARDBIRDS" (Live) Columbia label Blue/Black 33SX 1964 mono...Very rare ORIGINAL heavyweight vinyl (in this condition) live recording by THE YARDBIRDS. Vinyl is simply MINT, plays as it looks, SUPERB playing original mono issue from 1964, recorded at The Marquee Club.

The cover is in better than very good shape & has an amazing looking & both sounding record, so difficult to have any better than this particular overall condition, without some kind of negative issue such as surface noise, scratched out grooves, ingrained dust, surface scores or marks, warping or distortion, of which their are NONE here of those common problems to list. Especially with early issues such as this one on Columbia. they would have been played on a multitude of different players/stylus at party's or early equipment. resulting in today most being trashed or bearing some fault through the years of use. This one I offer has no hand written names in ink or biro anyplace, on the cover, labels or inside. the opening loader at the sides are in very nice strong shape without fraying or ripping/fold etc. All flip back tabs are intact to the rear of the cover, comes with the original dust poly protective inner sleeve with no splitting or peeling of the liner, and I also included a spare duplicate sleeve of the same manufacture, with a small split at the bottom. Record is stored within this inner sleeve behind the cover inside a new plastic sleeve. Intact spine at the side with no splitting or record push, text is fully legible. The rear of the cover is matt design and has a small amount of just normal (for the type of card used) paper aging...To be expected. These are not dirt stains & are very common to any similar design lasted well from the 60's. Perfect looking labels under bright light there are barely any signs of any type of spindle/spider lines to be seen on either side. The very lightest of a couple on one side. KT tax code is still embossed and raised on one side, showing this is unworn & still has the original paint intact. This is a very scarce record today & books in the guide at mint condition (which this vinyl is) at £270. So a fair start price with zero reserve set. Money back if not happy with description. Item is exactly as described & will be posted fast & packed very sturdy...Bulletproof packing & fast delivery. You get there...What you see & read here.

So difficult to have a better example. I check my items under both daylight & harsh white light, under both of these you can only see some of the wispy typed hairlines from removing or storing the actual record itself inside the inner liner sleeve. An absolutely superb performance that will seem like you are right there listening to it. Top audio contained, with no pops, repetitive tick. or clicks. No needle thrashing & definitely no skips or jumps in play on either side. Even in the intro or interludes there is barely any background noise present.... That's being extreme in my part of this description & you will definitely not be disappointed. Please see the close up view below...Thanks

All vinyl comes from a smoke, damp and pet free environment

>>  Grading of Items All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
