Description
Here is a fairly rare survivor of this first press album on Columbia, by the now legendary Yardbirds. Bought new by me in 1964, this is a live recording made at the famous Marquee club in Wardour street Soho. Still plays pretty good with that great live mono sound [ they used to nearly blow the doors off the Marquee ! ] Side one has some hairlines, but shouldn't notice too much with this kind of music ! Side two is generally good but does have audible short scratches on the start of track 1 and near end of same, and a once per rev scratch end of track 2, and just the start of track 3, but these are all loud tracks, so not too bad.
The laminated front cover is in great condition, good gloss, no splits or tears. Back cover is also very good for a 50 year old record, but being originally white has discoloured, plus a few stains, but sound.
