Description

These are five ten inch vintage 78 records by Bessie Smith all on Parlophone as follows:
Preachin' the blues/Thinking blues R2483 Trombone Cholly/Yellow Dog Blues with her Blue Boys R2480 Alexander's Ragtime Band/There'll be a hot time in the old time tonight with her Blue Boys R2477 I'm down in the dumps/Do your duty R1793 Cold in hand blues/St Louis Blues R2344 (Race series no.30)
I have not played any of these but to the naked eye they appear to be in very good condition. Small circular white labels have been affixed by a previous owner - please see pictures. Please note too that these do not come in their original sleeves. I am listing some more jazz/blues records from this era - postage in the UK is free.
