Description
This is part of a large auction of blues, R&B and a few rock n' roll 10" 78's. Almost all of these came from the collection of a 1950's Yale radio DJ. Across the board, they have been played very little.

Format: 78 rpm 10" shallac record
Year: 1955
Notes: Red label first pressing. First single by Relf and the last single featuring The Laurels, both of whom just released a few singles. Relf would go on to some commercial success with the soul duo Bob & Earl in the 1960's. Pretty standard group harmony fare here, but there are some nice guitar interludes.
Record Condition: E+, The record plays great with great sound almost no surface noise at all. Very little wear, just a few light surface scuffs. Labels are very clean as well, no marks, tears or obvious spindle marks. There is a sticker on one side though. Very nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in a box for maximum protection.
