Description

Performer Notes:

  • Recorded in 2010 while the rest of the Killers enjoyed their hiatus, Flowers' solo debut follows a similar direction as the Killers' first three albums, with retro keyboards and pop melodies reigning supreme.

Professional Reviews: Rolling Stone - 3 stars out of 5 -- "Flowers has become our staunchest BORN TO RUN-era Bruce Springsteen revivalist, and on his first album as a solo artist he pumps up the pomp, delivering surging synth-rock crescendos..."

Entertainment Weekly (p.140) - "[T]here are subtle pleasures in hearing Flowers (relatively0 stripped of his razzle-dazzle." -- Grade: B

Billboard (p.40) - "FLAMINGO finds Brandon Flowers exploring big topics over even bigger arrangements."
