Description

Fleetwood Mac's second album Mr Wonderful from 1968, a rare blues rock classic issued on the Blue Horizon label catalogue no. 7-63205 (Stereo version), matrix numbers S7-63205 A1 and S7-63205 B1 . The album has a very vibrant and direct feel to it, mainly due to the fact that it was recorded live in the studio. Gatefold outer sleeve.

Detailed condition comments as follows:
Outer Sleeve
Generally excellent for its age, free from seam splits, tears or deep creases to the card covers, and free from writing or other marks. The only sticker or label is the original stereo label on the back cover. There is slight age related wear and tear or scuff marks to the bottom corners of the front cover, a light and quite unobtrusive vertical indentation mark or line of unknown origin down the left hand side of the front cover about 4 cm. from the left hand edge, and some light creasing to the cellophane laminated surface on the back cover. Please note that tracks A2 and B5 are reversed on the sleeve as compared with the record and record label. This is a known anomaly noted in the discography literature on the album.
Inner Sleeve
Original inner sleeve missing, replaced by generic inner sleeve.
Vinyl
Visual inspection under an inspection lamp shows a few very light hairline scratches and inner sleeve scuff marks but these are not readily discernible in ordinary daylight and apart from these the disc looks very good with quite shiny glossy surfaces. However visual inspection is an unreliable guide to audio quality so I have test played the album in its entirety.
On test the record has a few pops and crackles on some tracks and track intervals (see below for tracks) but overall plays very well with sound quality sharp and vivid, probably enhanced by the live recording technique used, and with no significant deterioration in sound quality.
There are audible pops and crackles on track 2, at the start of track 3 and on track 5 of side 1. On side 2 there are audible pops and crackles on track 2 and track 6.
