Description

Here we have Fleetwood Mac with PIOUS BIRD OF GOOD OMEN, a collection of goodies on Blue Horizon LP S 7-63215, in STEREO and very good sound.

I may be wrong (it has been known) but I think that this is the FIRST EDITION PRESSING because the label is pale blue and the lettering is Times Roman style, not sans-serif.

Have a butcher’s hook at Mr Diz Cogz’s interesting site to see whether you agree.

 

Regardless of that, the music is splendid.

Little Willie John’s “Need Your Love So Bad” never sounded better, and the Elmore James tributes are luscious too.

Even that old warhorse about Albert Ross stands up very well, despite decades of ill-usage on TV adverts etc.

 

Not many UK albums are essential, but this one is.

 

It is remarkably clean and plays very well indeed.

The disc is a very strong VG++ or better and the sleeve is a pretty good VG++.

The sleeve has been inspected personally by Mr Fuffy, the ferocious one-eyed feral cat who lives in our garden (see photo).

Whenever I go outdoors to photograph something for eBay, he always turns up insisting on being in the shot, and NOBODY says “no” to Mr Fuffy.

Mr Fuffy has NOT touched the vinyl.

I am not a dealer.

I am just a very old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses.

I'm selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it.

What a great business plan (I don't think)!
