WHY THIS COPY IS SPECIAL

A very nice example of the original 1968 UK Blue Horizon pressing of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.

This is the mono 7-63200 edition, with the sought-after early A1/B1 matrix numbers in the run-out grooves:

Side 1: 7-63200 A1
Side 2: 7-63200 B1

The record has the original Blue Horizon blue labels and the original sleeve manufactured and printed by Ernest J. Day & Co.

This is the band's debut album and features My Heart Beat Like a Hammer, Merry Go Round, Long Grey Mare and other early Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac recordings.

CONDITION

Vinyl: VG+

The vinyl has some visible surface marks commensurate with its age.

The record has been fully play-tested.

It plays through without any skips or sticks. There is some audible crackle/popping during approximately the first half of Side 1, but the remainder of Side 1 and Side 2 play very well.

The playback condition has therefore been described honestly rather than grading the record purely from its appearance.

Sleeve: VG+

Original Ernest J. Day & Co. sleeve. Please see photographs for the condition of the front, rear, spine, corners and edges.

GRADING GUIDE

I grade records and sleeves conservatively and describe any significant defects in the listing.

VINYL

EX: Very clean record with only minimal signs of use. Little or no surface noise.

VG+: Some light signs of use and/or surface marks. May have occasional light background noise, but generally plays very well.

VG: Noticeable signs of use and surface marks. Some surface noise, clicks or pops may be present, but the record remains fully playable.

G: Significant marks and/or wear. Noticeable surface noise and possibly more intrusive clicks or pops. May still be playable but condition will be clearly described.

SLEEVE

EX: Very clean sleeve with only minimal signs of handling. No significant splits, tears or writing. Spine and corners generally excellent.

VG+: Some light wear from storage and handling, such as minor creasing, corner wear or light ring wear. No major splits or damage.

VG: Noticeable general wear, including possible creasing, ring wear, edge/corner wear or small splits. Still presentable but clearly used.

G: Significant wear or damage, such as larger splits, tears, heavy ring wear, writing or staining. Fully described and photographed in the listing.

IMPORTANT: Vintage vinyl sleeves can show different types of wear, so please study the photographs carefully. Any significant damage will be specifically mentioned in the description.

I aim to grade conservatively and will always describe any significant defects or playback issues.
