Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner, never played and came directly from the pressing plant/record company warehouse unless otherwise noted. 

Album is shipped in a 3 MIL poly sleeve.

Mint Condition means this album has never been played.

  • This was a transitional album and a breakthrough in the US for the Peter Green configuration of the group.
  • This record also featured three of the group's lead guitarists: Green, Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan
  • This is the version that did not have "Oh Well" on the track listing but it is on the record.
  • Seller put tape on the spine & wrote w/ "Oh Well" to designate this version (see photo).
  • "When You Say" and "Fighting for Madge" are on the cover track listing but were deleted from the record..
  • The explanation for the discrepancy between the cover track listing and actual record tracks is that WB released the first version then decided or were asked by the group to add/subtract songs and they used the original already printed covers.
  • This is a First Pressing of the "Oh Well" version.
  • Matrix ends in RE 1-2.
  • It is on the Reprise steamboat label.
  • The inner sleeve has the Reprise catalog listing on one side and a vintage brass band photo on the other. There is a 1" seam split on the bottom.
  • Seller got this new in his store in 1969 and it has been in storage since then.
