Original 1969 UK Reprise Steamboat label stereo press LP.

The third Fleetwood Mac LP was recorded from late 1968 into 1969 and finally released in September 1969. The album marks the beginnings of changes in the bands sound as Peter Green started to move away from straight Blues into a more psych/rock style, experimenting with overdubs and multi-instrumentals. Half the tracks on the album were composed by Peter Green and the rest by Danny Kirwan, but the track 'Oh Well' was not included on the UK release, but issued as a single, much to Peter Green's annoyance.

This is the original release with the very earliest A-1H/B-1H matrices & 1-AH/1-AF mother stampers of the very first 1969 issues!
 

The Garrod & Lofthouse matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some corner/edge wear and some storage wear and creasing on the outer cover, with some discolouration/rubbing on the rear cover and creasing along the spine. The widespine is still intact, but worn and still readable and the company inner is intact & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually VG+ condition, with a quite few faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines and a few small needle marks visible under on each side. The labels are in VG+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings on each side. Overall the record still retains most of its original sheen and looks good.   The sound reproduction is VG+ to EX, still clear & precise, with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise in some of the quieter passages and a few clicks caused by a small needle mark at the start of track 3, side 1. Overall, still a really great listen, that plays much better than it looks.   The matrix nos. are; RSLP-9000, A-1H mother stamper 1-AH, B-1H mother stamper 1-AF. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1969 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
