Description
Here's an LP that has really taken off in recent years. It's a rare promo edition of The Flirtations' classic 1969 soul album Nothing But A Heartache. I purchased this from a collector way back in the '90s -- along with many other LPs which I am just starting to list.
This is the nicest copy of the LP I've ever seen / heard. (I've owned four different copies over the years.)
The disc is shockingly perfect. There's virtually no noise. I'm so picky when it comes to my personal record collection -- and this one sounds like it's just been opened and played for the first time. I've carefully spun it about a dozen times (always with a high-end cartridge / needle) in the past 20 years. It's a pure pleasure to listen to. No surface noise or "pops."
I've loved owning it -- but it's time for me to pare down -- and let another soul lover have this. ;)
Has the almost impossible-to-find promo sticker on the back.
Has a bit of writing and a price tag (from the original '80s purchase) on the upper-left back cover. The price tag could probably be easily removed -- but I'm not going to try.
The cover is in VG+++ / EX- shape. Glossy with great eye appeal. A bit of tape residue on the lower spine and a small amount of surface wear (see photos). Also a bit of a split on the spine (see final photo). Pretty minor issues -- but do look at all of the pics.
LP will be packed ultra-carefully and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
