Description

CONDITION: There is no history of this record previously being sold -- please look carefully at the condition -- the playing surface is V+ however the flaw of the record is a hairline crack that has been previously stabilized with a small piece of tape -- the record plays well with a light audible tick when tested on a modern turntable with 78 needle;  
This is FLORENCE COLE-TALBERT who was a soprano and an early African American pioneer in the CLASSICAL music genre -- This record was released both as BLACK SWAN with catalogue number 7104 and as BLACK SWAN - PARAMOUNT 12187 from thier Race Series in 1923 and features "THE KISS" or "IL BACIO" and "THE LAST ROSE OF SUMMER" an original 10" 78 rpm record -- please see photos for overall condition 

This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box sandwiched between cardboard stiffeners and floating in a paper fill.
