Description
Florence Foster Jenkins Original Recordings Melotone 12" 78rpm discs Rare!. Condition is "Used". Privately recorded by Mme Jenkins in 1944 these two gems were lost in my father's record collection for the last 78 years. The songs are: "Queen of the NIght " aria from 'The Magic Flute' and on the B side "Serenata Mexicana" written for Mme Jenkins by her pianist Cosme McMoon . The second record has "Adele's Laughing Song" from 'Fledermaus' and on the reverse "Biassy" based on Bach Prelude XVI (Russian words by Pushkin).
Mme Jenkins needs no introduction suffice it to say the records while old are in good condition, but I have not played them (turned in my 78rpm turntable years ago) . So if there are major problems with playback, return the purchase within 10 days and I'll return your money.
