Flowers ORIG OZ LP Icehouse NM ’80 Regular L38441 Iva davies New wave Pop rock
Original OZ LP released in 1980 on Regular Records. Cat: L38441. Comes in gatefold sleeve.Though it has had varying personnel, Icehouse was essentially a vehicle for the work of Australian Iva Davies. Davies formed the first version of the band under the name Flowers in 1980 and began scoring hits in Australia with the group's first single, "Can't Help Myself." (Icehouse was the name of Flowers' first album, but the group changed its name as it went international, to avoid conflicts with another band.) They first reached the U.S. charts in 1981 with "We Can Get Together" but did not score a substantial hit until 1988's "Crazy." This was followed by the Top Ten hit "Electric Blue," written by John Oates.
Tracks : Icehouse/ We can get together/ Fatman/ Sister/ Walls/ Can’t help myself/ Skin/ Sons/ Boulevarde/ Nothing to do/ Not my kind. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Gatefold cover has a few tiny marks and a small sticker stain on front and is in Excellent condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
