Description

Moving Waves is the second studio album by the Dutch progressive rock band. It was released on the Sire Records label in October 1971. The album remains as their most successful peaking at #2 in the UK, #4 in the Netherlands and #8 on Billboards Top 200 Albums chart. The single from the album, the progressive instrumental “Hocus Pocus” became a huge hit in the U.S. when released in 1973, peaking at #9 on Billboards Hot 100 Singles chart. The song is often confused with the Edgar Winter Group’s instrumental hit “Frankenstein” from a similar time frame. Great prog album from ‘71 in shrink here.
