Description

Flatt & Scruggs classic 78...a Mercury "Merco Plastic" pressing that is "Non breakable under normal use"
This 78 looks rough, but it's still very playable and listenable. Record is perfectly flat, no warp or cracks.
Record was test-played on a 1970s Realistic turntable with a good Shure 78 rpm stylus, and a tone arm weight  of 2.5 grams. There was a repeating skip near the end of "Foggy Mountain Breakdown". The tone arm weight was increased to 4 grams, and the skip disappeared. The "No Mother or Dad" side has a couple of scuffs near the end that are very audible.
