Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

  • The group's first Platinum album contained their biggest hit, "Slow Ride". This is the full 8 minute version.
  • This Promotional copy has never been played.
  • It is a First Pressing.
  • The matrix run-outs end in 1A & 1B.
  • The top of the Bearsville label on the record also includes "Promotion Not For Sale".
  • The paper on board cover has 2 tight seams. The top seam has a 1" split that was taped years ago. The cover shows very little wear.
  • The Promo sticker is on the front.
  • The plain white inner sleeve has yellowed with age. I have included a soft plastic inner sleeve.
  • The 1" pin back button is a promotional item from the 1980 album "Tight Shoes".
  • Seller got this new, right out of the box, from WB in 1975. it has been in storage for 40 years.

When "Slow Ride" appears on compilation albums, it is typically featured as a four-minute radio edit version. Some compilations also use an edited version of the title track, trimming much of the middle section.
