Size doesn't matter 5 out of 5 StarsDon't let the size fool you. I purchased this gate for 2 Newfoundlands and 1 English Cocker Spainel. My newfs are 135lbs and 148 lbs. Neither one of them have tipped over the gate yet. The gate comes up to my dogs shoulder and is heavy enough not to move when they lean on it. One of them did sneak around the side where there was a small opening and got into the room but that was my fault for not pushing the side of the gate all the way up to the wall. This is a great anything gate. It can be adjusted to suit doorways. I even use it outside to block them from getting to an area of my backyard. Since I have show dogs, this gate is perfect to take to hotels. If crating is not an option, you can confine them to an area. I wouldn't purchase this gate if your dog is a giant breed and loves agility work. I am buying another one so I can have one inside and one outside. My friends that visit love it. They can see my dogs but not get slobbered on and the dogs love it because they don't realize that it's a barrier.
newfiekisses from Orange, CA Looks as good as it works 5 out of 5 StarsI didn't want to spend this much, but we just got really beautiful hardwood floors and I wanted to keep our Westie out of that room. The gate can be configured in many different ways for different sized doorways or open concept areas. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with a taller dog or a dog that "jumps" because it isn't very tall. It works well for us and I appreciate that it isn't an ugly "baby gate".
crpetowner1 from Cedar Rapids, IA Dog Gate 3 out of 5 StarsIf you have a small dog or puppy it will work. The height is about 18 inches on the ends and 20 inches in the center. Works well to angled walls etc. If your dog had any ideas of jumping or even standing on edge of gate. It will fail and fall over unless perfectly situated feet-which are actually 2 by 2 inch wood pieces.
