Description
Full-length LP from The Habibiyya titled "If Man But Knew" released by Island Records (HELP 7) in 1972. Original U.K. pressing. Three members of underground UK legends Mighty Baby and two Americans returned from a vacation in Morocco and converted to the Sufi religion. From this new devotion they recorded this singular release of genuine spiritual, Eastern flavored trance-folk music using whatever exotic instrument they had access to adding minimal chanted and singing. Gorgeous recordings without becoming overwrought and never sounding insincere. Tough record to find in this condition.

Labels are in EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in MINT-/NEAR MINT condition with new-like luster and some very slight hairline sleeve marks that do nothing. Plays with very slight, sporadic vinyl tics...sounds great with excellent fidelity! Cover is in NEAR MINT condition with slight crease at lower right and previous owners logo penned at top left on backside...looks great! NO RESERVE.
