Description
These are The Fondettes on a promo Arhoolie with The Beatles Are In Town and Johnny Hartsman with Lovelorn Flame on the flip. A nice girl group soul sound Beatles novelty. The flip is an instrumental piano ballad.
Vinyl is a shiny VG- with a number of light surface scratches and one longer scratch across the grooves on the Fondettes side. The flipside is a nicer VG with light surface scratches.
I record the songs using an Audio Technica VM 540 ML needle through a REPAIRED McIntosh C24 preamp. You can hear the song from beginning to needle lift with NO editing of the MP3.
Listen to a sound clip of The Beatles Are In Town.
Listen to a sound clip of Lovelorn Flame.
This is the beginning of the thinning of my 45 year personal collection that consists of, rockabilly, doo-wop, surf and all types novelty records like, Halloween, Christmas, Beatles novelty, Elvis novelty, Break-in, Answer, Trucker and Chipmunk sounds.
