There's a bit of surface noise apparent but this record also has tremendous musicality. In terms of the actual sound of the music this is one of the best Studio 1 albums I've heard. It just jumps out of the speakers with amazing 'presence'.This may be due in part to it being a first pressing ( Discogs website has more information - Cat. No. CSL 8025 - Matrix Nos. 9079 2A and 9079 2B ). Then there's the music itself. Every track is grade A Studio 1 from the likes of The Heptones and The Wailers,and Dennis Alcapone was never better. A genuine reggae classic.
