Description
Here's a San Diego Psych/Prog Rarity by "Anthrax," who later became "Formerly Anthrax." This is a heavy Demo/Acetate on Elektra Records (Vinyl Lacquer over Metal). I've been a local San Diego collector for years and am currently liquidating my personal collection. This would be a great addition to anyone into Rare Rock & Psych/Prog, Demo/Acetates, Elektra Artists, etc. Any questions feel free to ask, No Reserve
*Condition: The Vinyl is Good to VG, lots of small surface scuffs and marks, but no skips or major pops, plays all the way through fine. There is a super small "chip" on the edge where the metal is showing over the vinyl, but it doesn't go into any songs. The label is red with black print, type written lettering.
*Notes: -The Cover has written in pen, "Jerry McCann," who used to be a member of the group. -On the Label, it reads Anthrax. The band was called Anthrax at first, then the label decided they needed a name change. Almost jokingly the band called themselves "Formerly Anthrax" and the label agreed. -This Demo Acetate was pressed in small numbers for the band & label to see if it was ready for release, and sounds like it was part of a live performance. The music here includes different versions and a couple different songs that were NOT released on the "Show of Hands" album.
