Description

Here's the final one from my collection.  The condition of this sleeve is very close to the one I just auctioned; it's on the low side of VG+ to a strong VG.  There is no writing, no taped seams, no stickers, etc.  Again, the main "problem" here is the ringwear, but the ringwear might actually not be as noticeable as on the last copy (see the pics.)  BUT, there are a few small "indentations" on the "A" side between John & George that are noticeable when the sleeve is tilted toward the light (you can kind of see one by John's right eye in pic #3.)  There is also a bit more seam wear on the top & a very, very small split at the bottom right corner.  The first picture is the front cover with the open seam on your right; second pic is the back cover; third pic is a closeup of the worst area of ringwear on the front cover; fourth pic is a closeup of the worst area of ringwear on the back cover.  Again, please note this is for the cover only.  As a BONUS, I'll include a generic Apple 45 sleeve (NOT "The Beatles On Apple," just a regular Apple sleeve.)  Check my feedback for the first Beatles EP I sold; customer was very satisfied.  All the EPs I'm auctioning were stored in a basement & have a musty smell.  Payment due within 7 days; no exceptions.  Thanks for looking & good luck!

I will combine shipping for added savings.

Record Grading (note new scale for more accuracy).

MINT (10) UNLESS SEALED (which is unusual), ALL SINGLES ARE HANDLED IN SOME WAY, SO GRADING BEGINS AT NEAR MINT

NEAR MINT (9.5) ---- Vinyl may have a barely visible scuffmark, but no scratches.  Label is bright, clean and unmarked.  Sleeves close to perfect with very minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident.

EXCELLENT (9) ---- There could be scuffs or a hairline scratch or two.   Vinyl is bright and shiny.  Label is clean and unmarked.  Sleeve may have some slight creases or minor ringwear.

VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS (8) ---- Record handled and played occasionally, but very carefully.  Very minor scratches and/or scuffs.   Labels may have some minor imperfections, but otherwise clean.  Sleeves are clean, but could have one or two minor wear issues such as writing on sleeve, creases, some ringwear, minor staining, etc.  (All noted).

VERY GOOD PLUS (7) ---- The record has been cared for, but some minor flaws.  Light scratches and/or marks/scuffs that won't make a big impact.   Sleeves may have a few more defects than VG++ (duly noted).   Those who are looking for pristine-only might not be pleased, but most music fans would be happy to have a collectible record in this condition.

VERY GOOD (6)---- The record has been enjoyed and played often with some care, but also a little neglect.  Record displays visible surface wear---scratches or scuffs.  Vinyl could be "dull" at this point and not "shiny', or still perhaps shiny, but then with more scratches.     Usually a sleeve is VG when two or more of these problems are evident: heavier ring wear, writing, splits, creases, loss of gloss, stains, etc.   Most music fans would be happy to have a highly collectible single in this condition.

VERY GOOD MINUS (5) ---- Well-played with little luster.  Lots of scratches/scuffs or fewer but with deeper marks.  Several sleeve flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork---seam splits, significant ring wear, tears, cuts, taping (all noted).

GOOD (4) --- Pretty banged-up with lots of scratches, but not dead yet.  Sleeve splits are usually a big problem here with the records better off in a plastic sleeve.   They are certainly "good enough" until another copy comes along.

GOOD MINUS (3) --- Even more beat with tons of scratches.  Skips are possible.  Fans of a particular artist or style could probably enjoy a GOOD MINUS record, but might also be irritated by it at times.  Sleeves are hanging together by a thread (seams shot) but not intentionally defaced.

FAIR (2) ----FAIR records appear lousy (horrific scratches).  Sleeves may be defaced, seamless, stained beyond belief.

POOR (1) --- Unlistenable and undisplayable.
