Description

You are bidding for a “Tommy package" consisting of 4 rare items:
1. "Overture from Tommy", a 45 RPM single by Brian May and the ABC Melbourne Show Band! Polydor Records 1975.

2. A double album bootleg of a live concert at The Rainbow of “Tommy" from around 1973 featuring Roger Daltry as Tommy plus special guest artists Bill Oddie (The Goodies), Jon Pertwee (Doctor Who, the 3rd Doctor), David Essex, Viv Stanshell (Bonzo Dog Band), Elkie Brooks, Roy Wood and others. Bootleg recording so no label.

3. A "DJ sample" 33 1/3 RPM 7 inch promotional single of excerpts from the 1973 A & M Lou Reisner orchestral Tommy double LP. A&M Records “Promotional Copy Not For Sale”.  This was made especially for radio stations to promote the LP.

4. “Excerpts From Tommy” LP. Features singers Tony Rivers, Mick Trounce, Martha Smith and John Perry. Recorded at Marquee Studios in London. Tracks are "You Didn't Hear It” , "Amazing Journey”,  “Christmas”, " The Acid Queen”, "Pinball Wizard”,  "Smash The Mirror”, "I'm Free”,  and "We're not Gonna Take It”. Pickwick International Records 1973.

This package is great for fans of the rock opera “Tommy” and The Who. Records are in great used condition.
