Description

Hi and thank you for viewing my auction.  I am clearing out a large quantity of my vinyl collection some of which is  rare and collectible.  I will aim to give an honest appraisal of the condition of each record and sleeve  as well as giving a realistic opening price for auction items.  
Much of the vinyl I am selling is from the 70's and 80's, including pop, funk, disco, Tamla Motown and Soul. There will be several demos and promos  amongst them, some of which may be difficult to value so you never know, you may pick a rare, collectible item at a bargain price. 
Sold items will be despatched as soon as possible after purchase and proof of postage will always be obtained  in case of any issues arising. 
Right folks, here is one that I found buried in my demos and promo box, doing nothing, not being  played so thought it time to let someone else enjoy it.  Have to admit that I've not played this for  years;  it's a copy I received from one of the plugging companies who sent me promo stuff, and I  understand this this has some rarity value as it was withdrawn in this form soon after release.  John Manship has this listed for sale for £100, but I'm starting my auction a lot lower and if to  goes to the maiden bidder, you've got yourself an absolute bargain.  
From former Tamla Motown ace group The Four Tops, this was released during their wilderness  years when nothing much was happening for them.  They'd had their success on ABC (Probe in the  UK), a couple of hits on Casablanca, and then on to Calibre which released this cover of Cecil  Womack's "Your Song". 
It's on Calibre label (CAB124) and the vinyl is in very good, near excellent condition.  The sleeve  shows some creasing but no splits of tears.  And it comes with the original promo/info sheet I  received at the time of release. Sad to let this one go but still saving for big things happening  next year!   Good luck with your bidding.
