Description
This is a framed original 78 RPM record from the central Shyvers station in Seattle. In the frame is also a reprint photo of the Seattle main station where the girls played the records for all the locations in Seattle. The records from the station all had a sticker with the selection number and the edges were taped to prevent chipping. The selection numbers were marked on each record so it could be returned to its proper place on the shelves above the turntables. Because they were handled so much, all the records had taped edges to prevent them from chips. These records came out of the Shyvers estate in Seattle. The record in the picture is not necessarily the record you will get. I have put together a few of these and all the records are different. You will get an original record that was owned and played on the Shyvers Multiphone system in Seattle but I can't tell you the exact record. Original Shyvers records are rare because the taped edges made them impossible to play on jukeboxes so they were usually trashed. Frame is 12x18. If you have questions , message me.
