Francoise Hardy - Soon Is Slipping Away/ The Bells OF Avignon
(United Artists UP 35105 UK 7" 1970)
This is a UK original 7" single pressing. It comes with a period plain white paper sleeve. The record has 1st press A-2/ B-2 matrix stampers. A very rare UK single from Francoise Hardy.
Vinyl: Unfortunately, this is a heavily played copy. There are some moderate to considerable sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. There is a noticeable 4 cm surface scuff mark on the A-side. There are a few light hairline marks. Overall, Fair+ condition. The labels are in Very Good++ condition & show mild spindle wear only. The plain paper sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & fading. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Good to Very Good overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. It never overpowers the music. There are some light or very mild intermittent clicks at the start of the A-side. These do not last too long. There are a couple of other clicks further on the A-side too.
