Description
This auction is for a 4 record, 78RPM ser by Frank Sinatra "Dedicated to You". Columbia Records Set C-197.
I rescued this set from my parents who were about to throw it out with the trash about 25 or 30 years ago. The set contains the following songs:
The Moon Was Yellow and the Night Was Young
The Music Stopped
Strange Music
I Love You
None But the Lonely Heart
Where or When
Always
Why was I Born
The box is in OK condition. The top edge has an approximately 3" split but for 50 years old it is fine. All 4 records appear to be in very good condition. I know nothing about the valuation or grading of records but there are no chips or cracks. I don't have a turntable let alone one that plays 78's so I can't vouch for the quality of the music.
From time to time I have checked for a similar item on Ebay and saw the set only once and that was about 2 years ago and it was listed for, if I remember correctly, about $200.00. I'll start this listing for a quarter of that and I'll pay the shipping.
